Municipal sport establishments

Public sporting fields of the Benešov town (1 km far from the Konopiště Family Hotel) are offering the following: tennis courts, ice ring with ice surface, inside and outside swimming-pools, several sporting halls to play floorball, football, volleyball and basketball, football grounds including grounds with 3rd generation artificial surface and fitness centres. Golf

Two exquisite golf courses can be found in the very vicinity of the Konopiště Family Hotel. First is the Golf Resort Konopiště, offering two master grounds with eighteen holes and one ground for public with nine holes. The second is the golf ground golfové hřiště Štiřín, offering the ground with nine holes. This ground in the area of the Štiřín Castle is located in English Castle Park with beautiful natural scenery.

Mushroom picking

Fishing

For fishing - rybaření Konopiště with its surrounding offers just excellent conditions. Konopiště pond (200 meters from the family hotel), Konopiště stream (just next to the family hotel), Vltava or Sázava Rivers.

Konopiště pond has not been fished over 50 years and the carps living there can have as much as 15 kilograms, at the bottom near the foot bridge 100 kilograms sheatfish with its smaller brothers are said to be fishing… You can buy one-day fishing permit directly on the dike of the pond. Long-term fishing permits (1 and 3 years) are sold at the Municipal Authority at Benešov. You can get information in the Fishing Association at the address of Vlašimská 1927, phone 317 721 580.

Cycling tourism

The whole region of Benešov is weaved by beautiful paths both for the beginners and demanding routes for advanced people.
